Reasons To "Read Through The Bible" In 2008!

1. TO SATISFY YOUR SOUL - "You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing," Ps. 145:16. God's word will satisfy you in a way that nothing else can - completely!

2. TO INSTILL FAITH - "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God," Romans 10:17. Your faith will grow with every daily portion!

3. TO DEVELOP LOYALTY TO GOD - "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth," 2 Tim. 2:15. The Bible is our guide to pleasing God and staying on the course toward heaven!

4. TO DEVELOP LOVE FOR GOD'S FAMILY - "Let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another . . . ," Col. 3:15-16. The peace of God comes to His family by drinking Christ's words deep into our hearts!

5. TO DEVELOP AN EVANGELISTIC ATTITUDE - "These things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these things to faithful men who will be able to teach others also," 2 Tim. 2:2. God wants all men to be saved (2 Tim. 2:4). Men are saved by the gospel (Rom. 1;16). The gospel is learned and shared by word of mouth.
